I can not remain silent anymore! What in Sokars name is this comic!
Several gigantic question! Why do GSD agents act like high school teenagers who can not sort out their relations? Are they professionals or are they lousy teenagers?
Not to mention..What happened with Jack? Before in the storyline he had went through a lot in order secure his current position. Now here he acts so imature and child-like. Such that he can not even think straigth?
Neither Jack nor Cynthia have been a bit honest or true to each other. Instead, both of them illusionize some sort of a trance towards each other! And both misled each other into certain hard-bass trash!
What in the name of Sapa Inca happened to their professionalism? They way they act towards each other in the past and present? I have encountered veterans in my lifetime, and when I compare their characters to Jack and Cynthia, the second ones are way out of their appropriate character. Both for some reason act guilty towards each other, while in reality they should have been honest and forgiving a long time ago!
And do not think that by inputting a wise quote into the chapters opening makes it look more appealing, IT DOES NOT!
Finally! The plot itself! So far the story is catastrophically overloaded with unessecary information which not only bores, but misleads the audience.
Tell me honestly. Did you really input several episodes without thinking about its future role in the plot? THAT IS A TOTAL VIOLATION OF WRITING STANDARDS AND THE CHECKOV’S LAW! So far the only thing one can understand is: Jack got himself into a big mess that involves both the GSD and the Japanese (presumably under Himiko). Such that he is under surveillance and is in an undercover interegation where the GSD wants to figure out what Jack had done! Is that a correct way to perceive the story so far!
Several violations of plot details.
1. The 2013 mission! Something that caused both Jack & Cythia to dislike each other!
2. The mission that got Jack into his current state!
Unless you really know what happened, It seems that those missions play no role in the story, and you have interpreted them for no reason besides just being the tragic incident.
So far the story seems to be going nowhere. Even the Oldoor incidents do not serve as inciting incident for future development. Something better happen, otherwise the audience might lose their shinanigans! Be it rather Jack vs the Agency/Japanese, or something simple as the appearance of other old characters, (the duo assitants) It rather happen soon!
The only thing I might never forgive (just like those two how ironic!) Is their current characters. No development, but rather drastic changes in attitude which one will never approve. Pleased! Make it that they are more professional towards each other. A simple phrase to input: “Because I care for you, a lot more than anyone can imagine”. That will change everything.
PS Until then you lost my audience, and respect – Gopatich
